IJP Design Ambassador Jamie Howarth is a rookie on the Challenge and European Tours this year. He played in Portugal over the weekend in the Madeira Islands Open and finished a very respectable 15th place. Posting four solid rounds of 72 70 70 and 71. This result has shot him up the rankings and he now sits in 41st position on the Challenge tour money list and in 223 place on the European Tour money list.
Jamie’s next event is the Telenet Trophy in Belgium starting this week. Fellow IJP Design ambassador Daniel Brooks will also be teeing it up in the event.
We also have a strong ambassador showing at the BMW Championship this week. Ian Poulter, Matthew Baldwin, Graeme Storm, Andreas Harto and Simon Wakefield will all be Wentworth wearing the trousers.

Ian Poulter has taken some time off recently to spend time with family and prepare for the big events coming up. One of which is the Players Championship this weekend at TPC Sawgrass. Ian will be wearing the new SS13 IJP Design Collection.
Andreas Harto managed to keep his trousers on this weekend and saved his best round for last, shooting 67 to finish in 7th place at the Volvo China Open. This was his best finish of the season so far and should give him a lot of confidence going into the Madeira Islands Open next week.
Matt Baldwin had another successful this week on the European Tour. He finished T24 at the Volvo China Open with a four round total of -3 (285).
Daniel Brooks finished in a tie for 31st place at the Montecchia Golf Open in Italy last week. Daniel finished the Challenge tour event on five under par.
Over on the Jamega Tour, James Watts finished in a tie for 17th place at Caversham Heath, shoothing two under par for two rounds.

IJP Design had a busy week as we were the main sponsor for the Ballantine’s Championship in South Korea. All the marshals were kitted out in IJP Design gear and we had many players rocking our gear.
Jon Lane, Global Marketing Manager of Ballantine’s, presented Matt Baldwin (below) with a bottle of Ballantine’s 21 year old for joint lowest round on day 1 of the Championship.

After a disappointing week at Augusta, Ian is taking two weeks off to get his game back in top shape. He’ll be working hard on his swing but also taking some well deserved time off to spend with his loved ones. We look forward to seeing him back out on the course very soon.

Jamie Howarth played in a 1836 Tour event and clinched his second victory of the season. He shot an impressive 65 (-7) at Wychwood Park to win by four strokes on the day. Jamie is now in Madrid and will play his first Challenge Tour event of the year starting on Thursday.
Matthew Baldwin, Andreas Harto and Daniel Brooks all made the cut in the Open de Espana and finished t51, t56 and t61.
IJP Design have four ambassadors representing us at the Ballentine’s event starting this week in South Korea. Matthew Baldwin, Andreas Harto, Daniel Brooks and Simon Wakefield will all be teeing it up on Thursday. May their drives be straight and your putts roll true! #WeartheTrousers
